WRITING TEST PREP

Be familiar with the vocabulary

Begin with studying the vocabulary list below that covers civics and history topics from the English writing section. The material is available in multiple languages to aid understanding.

start practicing writing the sentences

All the sentences are formed using words from the vocabulary in the schedule. Try practicing writing these sentences using pen and paper. When you are asked to write a sentence during the interview, the immigration officer will hand you a tablet to write on.

Take a Practice Test

Now that you’ve familiarized yourself with the vocabulary and sentences, it’s time to put your skills to the test. Take a practice test to simulate the writing portion of the interview. This will help you get comfortable with the process and ensure you’re well-prepared. During the actual interview, you’ll be asked to write on a tablet, so practicing now will give you the confidence you need to succeed.

Section 1
Tested Vocabulary

The schedule below contains words that might appear on the writing test during your interview. Please take time to familiarize yourself with these words. You can use the flags below to find translations in the listed languages. Once you feel comfortable with the words, proceed to the next section to practice writing.

Afterward, you can take a practice test to assess your familiarity with the sentences.
